Tim Miles’ GT World Challenge Audi R8 Immortalized as Charity Model
Speedcafe.com reports that the late Tim Miles will be honored with a scale model of his Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II race car.
Tim Miles raced the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II for Melbourne Performance Centre in GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS. Miles was tragically killed in a cycling accident on Sunday, July 6. Since his passing tributes have been pouring in from his teammate Brendon Leitch and across the racing community.
The latest tribute is a 1:18 scale model of Miles’ R8 LMS GT3 Evo II. The model will be produced exclusively under license to HDM Collectables by Spark. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Humpty Dumpty Foundation in memory of Miles.
The Humpty Dumpty Foundation is the largest charitable supplier of children’s medical equipment and health initiatives in Australia.
The R8 LMS GT3 Evo II sealed body resin model will be mounted on a numbered base. It is available to pre-order now with a price of $232. The models are expected to ship in the second quarter of 2026.
“Tim raced a lot of cool cars in his time, and I know the Audi was definitely one of his favorites, so it’s very special to be able to remember him in such a unique way,” said Leitch. Leitch and Miles won the Phillip Island race in the Audi and secured multiple podium finishes together.
