Audi Club Auction Watch: 05.22.2025

Hello again Audi aficionados! Thank you for clicking on another edition of Auction Watch where we’ve done the internet searching for you. We’ve checked multiple car auction sites looking for Audi models worthy of your bids. Typically each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi that you’re looking for in time for you to bid on it.
Let’s start by checking out this week’s import, a 1993 C4 S4 Avant with an optional 4.2L V8. It’s a German expatriate but the listing doesn’t state when it was imported and the auction ends this afternoon along with the other first five listings. So scroll down to check out those first (an RS 3, an S4, a Q5, and two R8) before looking at the remaining 14 listings. In those there are five 8-series models with big engine specs: a 2017 S8 plus, a 2012 A8 L W12, and three R8 V10 Spyders. Speaking of big engine specs, there’s a 2025 RS 6 Avant performance that’s basically new. Next, we have a mildly-modified B7 S4 and an early S5 Coupe with a N/A 4.2L V8. It wouldn’t be a normal Auction Watch without at least one Mark I TT (this week there are two) and an RS 4 (this week’s is a cabriolet). At the practical end of things are a 2015 Q5 TDI, a 2014 A6, and a 2013 S7.
I have an Auction Watch pet peeve to share on taking your own pictures to list your car. Two of this week’s listings have poor photo galleries. Weird angles, bad light, glare, poor focus, etc. If you really want to represent your car in the best light possible, figuratively and literally, let a pro shoot your car. 2009 Audi R8 Coupe (48,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends early PM today! The color is Brilliant Red and red cars are faster. The black interior has Nappa leather seats, carbon Sigma inlays, an Alcantara headliner, and B&O sound. Mods include a custom valved cat-back titanium exhaust, 10mm wheel spacers, gloss black front and rear emblems, front trim piece, and XPEL paint protection film on the front end. A 4.2L V8 (420HP/317 lb-ft) sits inside carbon fiber trim and spins the desirable 6-speed manual. Carfax reports minor damage to the rear in October 2024 and the seller states a shop scratched the rear bumper while the custom exhaust was installed and had it repaired.

Bid quickly, auction ends early PM today! This Glacier White metallic sporty sedan is equipped with Technology, Driver Assistance, Dynamic, and Black Optic packages. The black interior has leather seats with contrasting stitching and carbon fiber trim with tinted windows to keep them cooler. It rolls on 19” Enkei wheels. The fun-factor is the 2.5L I5, Audi rated at 394HP/354 lb-ft, that pairs well with a 7-speed S tronic. See the listing’s comment that this ECU is/was tuned due to increased redline to over 7k RPM. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.

This mid-size SUV is finished in Brilliant Black over Atlas Beige interior with leather seats, dark brown Walnut wood trim, a Cold Weather package, Audi MMI Navigation Plus, and Audi side assist with Audi pre sense rear. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 (252HP/273 lb-ft) bolts to a 7-speed S tronic. Carfax reports no accident or damage but an open recall #90S9 for the Gateway Control Module. The seller notes a chip in the windshield, paint touch-ups on the hood, and the right brake light is inoperative.
2009 Audi R8 V10 Coupe (39,000 Miles)

The exterior is Phantom Black Pearl with carbon fiber Sigma side blades and a fixed rear wing. The interior has Tuscan Brown Nappa leather seats, carbon fiber inlays, Audi Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, and a Pioneer infotainment screen. The Carfax is clean and lists 11 previous owners.
1993 Audi S4 Avant 4.2 (171,000 Kilometers)

Bid quickly, auction ends late PM today! This Euro-spec import is a C4 generation S4 equipped with an optional V8. The dark blue paint is (oddly) named Brilliant Blue and it was repainted before being imported to the States by the previous owner. The black interior has leather seats, wood trim, an Alpine Bluetooth stereo, some dead pixels in the digital displays, and a cargo area partition net and retractable cover. The 4.2L, 32-valve, 4 cam V8 was factory rated at 276HP/295 lb-ft when new and spins a 6-speed manual with a driver-controlled differential. Please read the listing for recently serviced items.
2014 Audi S4 (131,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends late PM today! No Reserve. The one and only owner of this sporty sedan must have had a long commute to work as it racked up the miles quickly. The exterior is Monson Gray metallic with a Black Optic package. The black interior has leather seats, Carbon Atlas trim, a Cold Weather package, a sagging headliner at the back (photo 84), Audi MMI Navigation Plus infotainment, and B&O sound. The supercharged 3.0L V6 (333HP/325 lb-ft) spins a 6-speed manual. The Carfax is clean but the selling dealer notes evidence of prior paintwork on the passenger rear quarter panel.
2010 Audi S5 Coupe (94,000 Miles)

This Prestige trim-level B8 generation S5 is finished in Phantom Black pearl and powered by a N/A 4.2L V8 (354HP/325 lb-ft) that spins a 6-speed manual. The black interior has leather S Sport seats and Carbon Atlas inlays. Please read the listing for recent service done throughout the car. Carfax reports minor damage to the left front and front in December 2014 (seller notes it was backed into by a neighbor with repairs believed to include replacing the driver-side front quarter panel) and minor damage to the front in April 2025 (seller states a branch fell on the car). Records indicate that the hood, roof, and right C-pillar were repaired and repainted to address the latter incident.
2001 Audi TT Coupe (36,000 Miles)

The first owner of this Lake Silver metallic Mark I coupe must have thought it was a priceless masterpiece—it didn’t break 1,000 miles until owner #2 in 2015. That owner did put on new tires, and they’re still on. The Ebony interior has leather seats, Premium and Audio packages, a clock that’s 24 years off, and a replacement center display. The storage cubies in the back seat are shown open, the latch typically breaks. The 1.8L turbocharged I4, Audi rated at 225HP/207 lb-ft spins a 6-speed manual. Carfax reports only three owners and no accident or damage. The seller reports that the fuel gauge is incorrect.
2011 Audi R8 V10 Spyder (29,000 Miles)

This even faster Brilliant Red car, thanks to the 5.2L V10 (525HP/391 lb-ft), sold on BaT in May 2023 for $135k. It has a black top, a Luxor Beige interior, and a gear shift lever for your right hand to operate the 6-speed manual. Also inside are carbon Sigma trim, Audi Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, and an Audi Concert CD stereo with B&O sound. Carfax reports three owners and no accident or damage but touched-up paint chips are viewable in the listing’s photo gallery and there is a chip in the windshield, both which could’ve been prevented with Audi Club North America sponsor XPEL products.
2017 Audi S8 plus (30,000 Miles)

This Audi flagship is painted Monsoon Gray metallic over Titanium Gray interior made cooler by a solar sunroof. Also inside are leather heated and ventilated front seats, a Cold Weather package, wood trim, power rear sunshade, an Alcantara headliner and door panel inserts, surround-view camera system, a head-up display, and Bose sound. Its twin-turbo 4.0L V8 in plus-spec is factory rated at 605HP/553 lb-ft and bolts to an eight-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports two owners and no accident or damage.
2004 Audi TT Roadster 3.2 (63,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This Mark I drophead coupe is Light Silver metallic with a black soft top over an Ebony interior. Said interior has Nappa leather seats, an Audi Concert CD stereo, a wind deflector with a new drive belt, and in September 2023 the HVAC evaporator and heater core were replaced and the center display repaired. The 3.2L VR6 V6, factory rated at 250HP/236 lb-ft when new, had its timing chain tensioner replaced in April 2023 and spins a 6-speed DSG. Carfax reports a motor vehicle accident in July 2008 resulting in disabling damage to the left-front and left side and airbag deployment. Per a seller’s comment, WeatherTech floor mats and a car cover are included in the sale.
2012 Audi A8 L W12 (28,000 Miles)

The big 6.3L W12 engine, factory rated at 500HP/463 lb-ft, powers this luxury cruiser. An 8-speed Tiptronic and a Sport diff plus quattro complete the drivetrain. The colors are Phantom Black pearl outside, black inside with leather heated/ventilated/massaging seats front and rear, brown Walnut wood trim, Audi MMI infotainment with navigation, and B&O sound. Carfax reports only one owner, no accidents or damage but the parking sensors are inoperable (see photo #55 for more details).
2015 Audi Q5 TDI (93,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Based on the way this Glacier White metallic SUV packed on the mileage I’d say its one owner also had a long commute. The black interior has leather seats, wood trim, a beige headliner surrounding the panoramic sunroof, a Technology package, and B&O sound. It rolls on optional 20” wheels. The cargo area is protected by a WeatherTech mat. The turbodiesel 3.0L V6 is Audi rated at 240HP/428 lb-ft and connects to an 8-speed Tiptronic. The Carfax report is clean but the seller notes the right fog light lens is cracked (photo #62) and a creaking noise from the sunroof.
2008 Audi S4 (54,000 Miles)

This shade of white is Ibis. The black interior features Recaro front seats in black Silk Nappa leather and Silver Alcantara, carbon fiber trim, Audi Navigation Plus infotainment, power rear sunshade, a CD changer, and Bose sound. The 4.2L 40V V8 now runs an APR ECU tune, exhales into a Milltek exhaust, and spins a 6-speed manual. The chassis has H&R suspension components. Carfax reports four owners, no accidents or damage, but the Falken Ziex tires that have 2014 and 2015 date codes.
2012 Audi R8 V10 Spyder (38,000 Miles)

A third Brilliant Red R8, this one a drophead coupe with a black soft top that covers a black interior featuring an Enhanced Leather Package, carbon Sigma trim, and B&O sound. The 5.2L V10 (525HP/391 lb-ft) flows power to a 6-speed R tronic. Carfax report minor damage to the rear in June 2020 and minor damage to the front, left front, and left side in March 2016 from a sideswipe collision. A TRUE360 report from August 2016 (link in the Carfax) notes repairs to the front end. The seller states that the left rear quarter panel was replaced following a parking lot incident.
2014 Audi A6 (90,000 Miles)

This shade of gray is Oolong which has a brownish hue in sunlight and it’s over a Prestige trim-level C7 platform. It’s equipped with a 19” Sport package, 20” wheels, navigation, and Park Distance Control. The interior is listed as black/Moon Silver but if those seat inserts are a shade of silver it’s very subtle. Sitting in a dirty engine bay is a supercharged 3.0L V6, Audi rated at 310HP/325 lb-ft, which bolts to an 8-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports one owner, no accidents or damage but the rims are seriously curbed.
2008 Audi RS 4 Cabriolet (69,000 Miles)

This Daytona Gray looker had its black power soft top replaced in August 2022. The black interior has Silk Nappa leather seats, brushed aluminum trim, an aftermarket steering wheel, and Bose sound. The OEM Dynamic Ride Control is still on-board. The 4.2L V8 (420HP/317 lb-ft) exhales into an aftermarket exhaust and spins a 6-speed manual. Carfax reports six owners and no accidents or damage.
2013 Audi S7 (112,000 Miles)

This sportback is finished in Estoril Blue over a Moon Silver interior that has Valcona leather seats, carbon fiber trim, an Innovation package, and Sose Surround sound. Mods reported by the selling dealer include a JH Motorsports flywheel, clutch pack, and pressure plate for the 7-speed S tronic that receives power from a 4.0L twin-turbo V8. Carfax reports an accident in December 2014 resulting in damage to the front in which the airbags did not deploy. The selling dealer notes that the driver-side rear shock is leaking, the passenger-side upper control arm bushing is worn, and the driveshaft output seal is seeping grease.
2025 Audi RS 6 Avant performance (1,300 Miles)

Another essentially new performance model halo avant with a $167k MSRP is being let go by its owner. The exterior is Ascari Blue metallic over a black interior with an RS Design package plus, also in blue. Paint protection film and window tints are the only mods. In this model the twin-turbo 4.0L V8 is Audi rated at 621HP/627 lb-ft which is sent to an 8-speed Tiptronic. Of course the Carfax is clean.
2012 Audi R8 V10 Spyder (36,000 Miles)

By now we must have seen every R8 V10 Spyder from this model year on Auction Watch. This one is triple black, it’s listed as black, I’m guessing Brilliant. The black interior has leather seats, carbon Sigma trim, Audi Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, an infotainment system with Audi navigation, and a CD stereo. Both door panels are suffering from loose upholstery which we’ve seen before on Florida cars. The 5.2L V10 (525HP/391 lb-ft) sends its power to a 6-speed R tronic. Carfax reports only two previous owners and no accidents or damage.
