Last year, Scherer Sport celebrated a world premiere with its first high-performance Gran Turismo RS7-X, now we are happy about the launch of number two: From now on, the exclusive special model, which climbs impressive performance peaks with 800 hp, is available in matt lacquered glacier white. PS fans can also look forward to the third release next year. Then Scherer Sport and ABT Sportsline bring the final RS7-X dream from the Limited Edition to life.
The Scherer Group, to which Scherer Sport belongs as a sub-brand for high-performance vehicles and motorsport, has been working together for several years as one of the largest car dealers in Germany with ABT Sportsline – the leading refiner for vehicles of the Audi and Volkswagen Group based in Kempten in the Allgäu. This partnership has already led to successful special models such as the RS4-X and the RS6-X. With the RS7-X, this legacy has now been continued. Christian Scherer paid special attention to the design of the interior, in which he realized extraordinary ideas with the support of the performance optimizer ABT Sportsline.
Almost all parts are individual custom-made
The RS7-X impresses with an exclusive look of the interior, where custom-made carbon parts dominate. A consistently black design sets noble accents, while special leather and Alcantara finishes including silver-contrasted decorative stitching, which have been perfectly processed by the in-house saddlery, provide a luxurious ambience. The limitation to three copies is underlined by a “1 of 3” emblem strip in the interior.
Externally, the glacier-white RS7-X stands out with a new and exclusive carbon finish – all around from the front lip to the side skirt attachments to the rear spoiler. Almost all carbon parts are individual custom-made only for this model, as is the filigree-incorporated silver metal thread in the carbon, which is also only available in this edition. The special X-Design light alloy wheels in Glossy Black ensure perfect handling of the high-performance vehicle thanks to their low weight.
