2022 Audi Club Board of Directors Election Results

2022 Audi Club Board of Directors Election Results

The results are in and have been certified for Audi Club North America’s 2022 election. This year, six candidates vied for three open positions on the Audi Club Board of Directors (BoD) for the 2023-2025 term. We want to thank our valued Audi Club members for participating in the election by casting their vote.

We’re excited to announce the results:

Mayur Bhatia (Elected) – Audi Club Golden Gate

Byron de Jesus (Re-Elected) – Audi Club Glacier Lakes Chapter

Tom Mullane (Re-Elected) – Audi Club Northeast (NEQ)

We welcome Mayur Bhatia and welcome back Byron de Jesus and Tom Mullane to the 2023-2025 Board of Directors!

Each year, three of the nine Audi Club Board of Directors positions are open for election. The full nine-member board will meet for the first time in January 2023 in order to select their executive officers for a one-year term. They will also be invited by the current board of directors to sit in on the final board meeting of the year on December 27, 2022.

We want to thank the remaining candidates for their willingness to take on the mantle of leadership in the Audi Club organization: Dan Daubenspeck (Rocky Mountain), Paul Gazella (Ohio Valley), and Ryan Ponto (Western Canada). We are grateful for passionate members like you who are willing to volunteer your time and energy, and we encourage you to run again in the future.

We are excited to continue our work with Tom and Byron on the Board, and to welcome Mayur, a strong leader from the Golden Gate chapter who I know will propel us forward. This was a tough election— all of the nominees were great choices and we very much appreciate all their efforts to help Audi Club and hope that they will run again! – Ryan Compton, 2022 Board President

I firmly believe that the quality of an organization can be measured by the people who join it, and in particular serve in its leadership. Audi Club North America is privileged not only to welcome Mayur, Byron and Tom to serve in the ranks of national Board Leadership, but also to have had such a robust mix of candidates boost their already generous volunteerism through their willingness to run for office. I’d like to extend my sincerest thanks to each of those who stepped up to run for office and to congratulate our three new board members. – George Achorn, Executive Director

The voting period ran from October 15th through November 15th and the results were certified by Bank Five Nine, Oconomowoc, WI.
