The results are in for Audi Club North America’s 2020 election. This year, seven candidates vied for three open positions for a 2021-2023 term. We want to thank our valued Audi Club members for participating in the election by casting their vote.
The results have been certified and we’re excited to announce the three top vote recipients are:
Leanne Kopras – Arizona Chapter
Melisa Wilcox – Florida Chapter
Don Istook – Lone Star Chapter
We welcome each of them to the 2021-2023 Board of Directors!
Each year, three of the nine Audi Club Board of Directors positions are open for election. The full nine-member board will meet for the first time in January 2021 in order to select their executive officers for a one-year term. They will also be invited by the current board of directors to sit in on the final board meeting of the year on December 29th, 2020.
We want to thank the other candidates for offering to step up: Jason Cupp (Kansas City), John Gonter (Carolinas), Jacob Lauck (Kansas City), and Michael Majdalany (Golden Gate). We are grateful for passionate members like you who are willing to volunteer your time and energy!
Though this is anything but a normal year, Audi Club couldn’t be in a stronger position as measured by the quantity and quality of the seven candidates who ran for the three open Board of Directors seats. I look forward to seeing all of what this new group will bring to the governing body of this organization, and I encourage the remaining candidates who did not win a seat to stay involved and run again in the future.
