Our next overnight drive offering is a new adventure in our Canyon Series of Drives. This drive takes us to the beautiful vistas of the Grand Canyon. Although May 2 is weeks away, room availability at the Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn (928-638-2681) will be an issue as the weeks go by. Those planning to join the event should make their room reservations as soon as possible so as not to be left out.
It is a beautiful scenic drive through twisty and not-often traveled parts of Sacramento, Amador and Calaveras counties with plenty of photo opportunities and places to get out and stretch your legs. With plenty of great driving roads in the area, we will have no shortages of twists and turns through the foothills.
THE 11th Annual MYSTERY RALLY WILL BE FULL OF NEW ADVENTURES! This popular driving event is one that you don’t want to miss! We’ll begin Saturday morning with an overnight stay Saturday night at our mystery location and end on Sunday. Our mystery location has a lot of activities available for you. This rally is a four half to five hour drive with a stop over for lunch. You’ll need a partner to be your navigator (who directs and answer questions). The drive should be spectacular and the route is just what Audi drivers like - beautiful scenery, nice and curvy.
Please join the Audi Club North America – Rocky Mountain Chapter and our event Sponsors, 3Zero3 Motorsports and Audi Denver, at our September 12th, 2014 HPR Open Lapping Day “Get Together”!
Hello fellow German Car Enthusiasts, We are excited to bring the first-ever German Auto Festival to Beaver Creek, Colorado. The dates are September 12 and 13—during our beautiful and brief high country autumn.
Audi Club Southern California continues the fun with a late fall track event at Buttonwillow Raceway November 22 and 23. This is the weekend before Thanksgiving, so before you settle in for the holiday season, come on out for a few days of fun at the track.
It’s not too late to register for Legends of the Autobahn™ & Audi West Coast Meet auto show on August 15, 2014. It has grown from a picnic to become one of the most popular general club events of the Monterey Classic Car week with over 500 cars displayed and more than a thousand people in attendance. Owners come from all over the west to display their cars.
Audi TT owners are invited to participate in the longest running annual TT drive event in the USA. The highlight of this year’s event is the drive along the most scenic portion of California’s Pacific Coast Highway. Most driving enthusiasts call it the most scenic ocean drive in the entire USA. Follow that up with a drive on the Monterey Peninsula through one of the most beautiful and storied areas that includes Pebble Beach, Spyglass, and Cypress golf courses. Then add stops at an elephant seal rookery, vineyards, and historic Hearst Castle, and you have a trip you will long remember.
AUDI CLUB ROCKY MOUNTAIN held two teen ice driving/car control clinics at Georgetown Lake in Georgetown, CO. Instructors and the 25 teen drivers faced some very challenging weather conditions this year, but everyone came away with a great learning experience. Add to that the fun that always accompanies the ice driving experience to result in a very satisfying two days at “The Lake.”
IT HAS BEEN ALMOST TWENTY YEARS since I have participated in an ACNA event in Northern California. You know what? In the middle of January…while a large part of the country was in the Snow Miser’s clutch (Snow in Southtown! Wha?)…It was undoubtedly worth the wait. Much like the tropical vacation in the dead of winter, there is just something decadently satisfying about enjoying a dry track event while many across the country suffer their car’s garaged hibernation.
