If you’ve never checked out the German market then it’s probably worth a visit. While it’s not available in English, it’s a great way to look at some of the colors, equipment and trim that are available outside the USA. We headed over there recently to model out last week’s Goodwood Green Q8 e-tron Find of the Day, and while digging around the Q8 e-tron section we ran across the Q8 e-tron edition Dakar.
You may have seen the edition Dakar a few months ago. Audi revealed details of this Europe-only package around the same time it was contesting (and winning) the 2024 Dakar Rally. Effectively, it’s a Q8 e-tron with more serious off-road kit, giving the otherwise subtle crossover just a bit more rugged flair.
Visually, the Q8 e-tron edition Dakar in the configurator is interesting. Unlike the murdered-out all-black setup seen in the PR photos previously, we can now see it’s also available in other rugged colors such as Magnet Grey and Siam Beige. You can also opt for a silver wheel finish as well.
It looks like the edition Dakar package does limit other options that might be chosen, but it’s still cool to see the Q8 e-tron edition Dakar in some other configurations. Build your own on the Audi.de Q8 e-tron configurator HERE.
