Living on the Gulf Coast somewhat limits the topography in which we can fully appreciate the engineering built into each of our Audis. No mountain passes. No autobahns. But what we do have we can make the most of — and a lot of it may be a new experience to many of you.
On Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:15 p.m., we will meet at the Shell gas station at the corner of FM 528 and State Hwy 35 in Alvin, Texas (exact address: 2700 FM 528, Alvin, Texas) for a driver’s meeting, then depart at 2:30 p.m. sharp. We’ll head out for a drive through some south Texas ranch land, some twisties along the way, a Gulf view drive along the Blue Water Highway, and end up at Topwater Grill for dinner between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. depending on speeds and photo opp’s. Be sure to wear your Audi colors as we are always hoping to get the pic’s that will make the Quattro Quarterly publication! (NOTE: We will need to collect $2.00 for each participating car for the toll across San Luis bridge — no credit cards!)
