Fellow ACNA, ACFL, and Audi Enthusiasts,
Drive and Luncheon 25th Birthday Party for the ACNA, November 6th
Join the Gulf Coast Region of the Audi Club of Florida as we celebrate the 25th Birthday of the ACNA. With the support of AoA through national, the first 30 adult participants who make reservations and attend will receive a Hamilton (Alexander Hamilton that is)...
The ten-dollar bill of course can be used towards your lunch at one of Guy Fieri’s listed Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives located in Sarasota, Karl Ehmer’s Alpine Steakhouse. Not only can one purchase some choice meats at an old time butcher store, but also German style cold cuts and wursts for later snacking on the way home, (not likely though, so bring the cooler, after lunch, you will be full). The Alpine Steakhouse is known for their TurDucKen, which is what was prepared for Guy’s TV show. In addition, there is a great selection of imported beers and wines, which can be enjoyed with your meal. Those of you, who are from the New York City area and had spent some time in Yorkville, may remember one of Karl Ehmer’s butcher shops, on 86th street, the heart of German town.
We will be caravanning again from the Wal-Mart parking lot on 34th street south in St Pete, then head south and on into Sarasota following the interstate. Aside from the fun and camaraderie, here is another reason to join us, if you are not presently a member of the ACNA or have let you membership laps during the last two years (unfortunately no annual renewals) and of course own an Audi, we will have a few complimentary one-year memberships. Between the ten-dollar bill and a $44 membership, this will be a $54 dollar value, how can one go wrong by joining us for this party. It is like being paid for having fun.
After lunch there is lots to do and check out in Sarasota including the Ringling Museum of Art, St Armands Circle, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Mote Marine Aquarium and of course Suncoast Audi for the latest in mobile art and engineering. So bring your husband, wife, significant other and of course the kids and enjoy a beautiful drive, tasty lunch and an afternoon of exploring and sightseeing in Sarasota.
Here are two links, one to the restaurant and a second to a little history.
