For those who have spent some time in Bavaria, you may recall that the two fastest moving objects on wheels are young ladies on bicycles using their bike bells to navigate Munich’s traffic, and Audi diesels, specifically Avants in the passing lane on the Autobahn. Ah yes, there is the occasional “Halo” car at over 260 kph but it is the Diesel Avants that consistently rule the roads. Here is an opportunity to mingle with the diesels in the passing lane.

THE ROAD AMERICA HAWK VINTAGE RACE is held every July and is a must-see for every Audiphile in the Midwest. Four days packed with exciting things to see and do both on and offtrack. Our group of vintage car buffs and Audi owners from all over Upper and Lower Michigan usually arrive each year on Friday. In the past we drove to this event, but decided to carpool and trailer 300 miles instead.
TEXAS, THE LONE STAR STATE, is the largest state in the continental United States. But that never stops Audi Club members from driving across its interior to spend time with fellow Audi enthusiasts. For 2013, Texan four-ring owners descended upon Frisco, Texas in the Dallas Fort Worth area to celebrate all things Audi. This year’s meet brought a bevy of Audi models, including some of the more rare breeds on display at the Show n’ Shine event.
Happy New Year! 2013 was another busy but rewarding year for Audi Club. Our passion for the Audi brand is celebrated in many different ways—whether driving on a track, winding roads, cross- country journeys, autocrosses—it’s all part of the Audi experience. Members also enjoy social events, auto shows, fun rallies, picnics and more. I am proud to say that in the last year we have made great progress in developing and hosting events that cover so many different interests.
Our first family activity for 2014 is a day of mini golf, diecast cars and lunch at Chesterfield Sports Fusion . Cost for mini golf is $6 per person. Additionally, there are lots of other activities available at Sports Fusion, including laser tag, climbing walls, dodge ball, video games and basketball / volleyball. It's a really good time and kids (of all ages) love it. After playing, we'll visit club sponsor, Designs in Motion, located in the same building, before heading to the Fox & Hound for lunch.
